an’…ut. You can’t leave behind any trace of yourself, which is a nice way to say we’ll bring poop bags. My beautiful, adventurous friends shine with enthusiasm. I’m lucky to have people in my life who want to do things like this, so I tell them it sounds fun but hope that in the next two years they either forget about Burning Man or somehow, I find my edge again.
About 5 years ago I decided to go to Burning Man because I felt as though I had become too rigid and fixed in my ways of being and living. I was a germaphobe, had never camped, and loved my personal space and privacy a bit too much to the point of become reclusive...Well Burning Man shattered all those self-limiting beliefs that I was carrying around all those years and accelerated the path of transformation and personal development that I had undertaken since after my divorce began a few years earlier.
Burning Man was an amazing pattern interrupt that helped me improve all areas of my life, hope to run into you out in the desert sometime!
Thanks for your share, I have always struggled with surrender and trust but expect I am not the only one.
